Mobiano Theme Box is an app designed to make it easier for you to customise the look of your Today screen, by offering you quick access to theme downloads.
Some might say this is a shameless way for Mobiano to plug its themes, and they'd be right of course. However, given that the themes are all free and, on the whole, are of good quality, I can forgive the company.
The Theme Box is ever-so easy to use. You simply install the . exe file on your PC and you're presented with a portal-like interface containing a selection of themes.
All of the themes are organised into categories, such as Nature, Computing, People and Sci-Fi, though, bizarrely, there's no search functionality included.
There's a wide array of free themes on offer straight away, although it takes an age for the program to update the latest themes from the Mobiano server.
Installing the themes onto your PPC is seamlessly easy. You just click 'Apply to device' and, providing you've connected your device via ActiveSync, the theme will instantly transform Windows Mobile.
Although it lacks a search feature, Mobiano Themes Box still provides a wide range of themes and lets you quickly apply them to your device.
